چکیده

Abstract Background The Advisor™ HD Grid Mapping Catheter (Abbott Technologies, Minneapolis, MN) has been recently introduced. Although the clinical use of mapping catheter is well described in adults with no congenital heart disease, there limited data on feasibility using multipolar to create voltage and activation disease. purpose this study was evaluate safety technical during ablation atrial arrhythmias We included 6 consecutive disease suffering from our study. used perform mapping. Results Six patients diseases (d-TGA n = 1, Tricuspid atresia atrioventricular defect repair secundum septal double-inlet single-ventricle Tetralogy Fallot 1); majority (84%) male, mean age 35 ± 10 years series. duration fluoroscopy time were 789 433 502 355 s, respectively. radiation dose 7.52 9 milliGy/cm 2 . successfully for entire arrhythmia 5 out cases. During one procedure, could not be due suboptimal reach through baffle puncture. acute success rate 100% immediate complications. Conclusions a safe valuable adjunct accurately ACHD undergoing radiofrequency ablation. However, contact force-sensing should considered conjunction supplement acquisition challenging anatomy substrates.

Diagnosis of patients with Parkinson's disease using quantitative susceptibility mapping

Introduction: Parkinson'sdisease isassociated withirondeposition in the brain. The T2-weighted imaging, T2* mapping, R2 mapping and Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping (QSM) are three common methods to evaluating the iron deposition in brain. Among three methods the QSM is more sensitive than others. Few studies have been used QSM for evaluating the iron deposition in the basa...

Utility of noninvasive arrhythmia mapping in patients with adult congenital heart disease.

Arrhythmia management in patients with adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) is a challenge on many levels, as tachycardic episodes may lead to hemodynamic impairment in otherwise compensated patients even if episodes are only transient. Recently several technical advances, including 3-dimensional (3D) image integration, 3D mapping, and remote magnetic navigation, have been introduced to facili...

Atrial reentrant tachycardia after surgery for congenital heart disease: endocardial mapping and radiofrequency catheter ablation using a novel, noncontact mapping system.

BACKGROUND The purpose of the present study was to determine the role of a novel, noncontact mapping system for assessing a variety of atrial reentrant tachycardias (ART) in patients after the surgical correction of congenital heart disease. METHODS AND RESULTS In 14 patients, an electrophysiological study using the Ensite 3000 system was performed to assess ARTs resistant to medical treatmen...

Pathophysiology of congenital heart disease in the adult: part III: Complex congenital heart disease.

With the successes in cardiothoracic surgery and pediatric cardiology over the past 3 decades, for the first time, adults with congenital heart disease (CHD) outnumber their pediatric counterparts.1,2 As a result, adult patients with CHD are beginning to appear more frequently in the practices of adult cardiologists. The present series is designed to provide a review of the pathophysiology and ...
